I'm not sure what got into me all of a sudden....

Well, tomorrow is my birthday, weird, i'm almost 17! That is pretty much way old. I feel all weird haha. But i've never been one to enjoy growing up and getting older and all that great stuff. It's just not my thing. I would love it if i could just stay in elementary school for my whole life! Especially lately, I found some of my way old friends that moved away during elementary on face book, wow it is so amazing to be able to talk to them! It has been way awesome! Rachel Braithwaite was my best friend in third and fourth grade and she moved to Chicago in the middle of fourth grade. It was hard! But then me and Kari Haskell were talking the other day about all of the old days in our good old elementary school Barnett. We looked up a lot of people and surprisingly enough, we found a bunch of them! We found Rachel which was so awesome! To be able to catch up with her and to see how she's been doing. And also, we found a kid we went to school with that also moved i think in fourth grade... his name is Taylor Pacheco, wow, me and Kari and Ariel all had a crush on him haha but the only one that ever told anyone was Kari haha. It is so crazy but so awesome to be able to talk to him now too!

But talking to all these people and reflecting on all the amazingly fun memories we all shared, it has really made me thankful for the childhood I had! I had awesome friends and a great school. I have always been so close with my sisters and I am so lucky to have them! And my parents, they are the best! they have always been there for me and I know they care and try so hard to do everything to make me and my sisters happy, and we are! I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and the strong backbone it is for me. My parents have always been so strong in the church and been such a great example for me, and I only hope that I can be half the parents for my kids that they have been for me. I am grateful for the strong spirit that has always been present in my home, for the love it helps us to feel that I know is what has brought us all so close together. Life is an amazing thing, we should all be eternally grateful for the opportunity that we are so blessed with to be able to experience all of the wonders of this world. Make the most of life now, live a life you would be proud to tell your kids about, love as much as possible, and have fun!
