HELLO!! this is officially my first real post on my first ever blog!! my name is erin dunford and i am sixteen years old. but my birthday is soon!! i am almost seventeen... wow i'm old. i cant talk about it though because seth is still sixteen and he hates that i'm older than him haha oh well.. my friend Yanzey finally came back from mexico!! you say that name like yawn-say haha its funny but he was gone for like three months to cancun living with his family and i've missed him a ton!! i'm actually talking to him right now. its been crazy with him gone. he always comes everywhere with me and my family, so it was weird not to have him around for three months. anyway, my sister just moved to cedar city to go to college at SUU. i miss her like crazy!! she's pretty great. but she loves it so i am happy for her.
ok so this summer, me and my sisters emily and bethany, yanzey, my mom, my cousin zach and these two girls in my ward named melanie and sarah, we all went to the hot pots up in spanish fork canyon-and for those of you who havent been there, you totally should it's so awesome! anyway though, so yanzey had been telling us about how there are always all these naked people up there. Like old, wrinkley people that just go up there and sit in the hot pots naked! we were all grossed out.
well the hike up there is pretty long, it took us like an hour to hike up and we got pretty hyper... we were singing these crazy songs and running down then trail, just being crazy. we got to this hill that was pretty steep and there were lots of rocks. i was running and i got to this rock, and i thought it would be pretty fun to like run and jump off it. so i did and i flew through the air, and i landed right on my butt. it hurt way bad!! yanzey ran over and helped me up and i was like, in shock, i couldnt even talk. everyone was like are you ok are you ok?? but whenever i stop and talk about it i always start crying, so i just kept walking and i wouldnt talk to anyone. until my mom caught up and started trying to take care of me and i started crying haha but you should have seen my leg!! it was completely bruised! like dark dark purple and it was bigge
r than my hand. it gave me like blood clots and it didnt go away for almost a month! i still have like this dent in my leg where the blood clots were. anyway, so we got to the hot pots finally and we were just playing and messing around and it was way fun! you like, go sit in the hot pots and then you jump out into the cold river, it's way awesome! well we stayed for like two hours and then decided we probably should start heading back because we had to get to my grandma's. so we left. it took probably an hour and a half to get back though because we were all way tired! well me and yanzey got back first, then emily, melanie, beth, and sarah got next, and we were sitting at the car waiting for my mom and my cousin zach to get back. we had been sitting there for almost fifteen minutes when this car comes driving down the canyon. the guy driving was alone, and he had no shirt on, and yanz was all i bet he's naked. so he parks on the other side of the street and sure enough, when he got out he stayed behind his car so he could pull his pants on. it was so awkward! he walks across the street and is all hey guys, have you already been down? and we're like yup they're all yours. and he's all ok thanks. so right as he leaves to go to the hot pots, my mom and zach come finally make it back to the car. we all pile in and start driving out. well as we were driving away, we were watching that guy walk down the path and he was watching our car, like he was nervous or something, and yanzey was all i bet he's just waiting so he can ditch his pants. we were all like no way, no way. but sure enough, right as we turn the corner to where he thinks he cant see us, he drops his pants and throws them to the side! right in front of my little sister and cousin!! we all saw everything! it was horrible haha but way funny.
